Cascade High School freshman, Tobin Walker moved up to the Junior Sport category, and placed 1st in Race Cascadia’s Dirt Cup on Saturday at Post Canyon near Hood River. CHS Sophomore Stella Johnson also continued her winning streak placing 1st on Sunday at the Roslyn Roundup, part of the Washington Student Cycling League’s race series.
Meanwhile, Icicle River Middle School’s Icicle Bicycle team held on to their 1st place team position bringing the gnome home for the third time in a row. Sixth graders Jonas Johnson placed 2nd and Caroline Menna placed 3rd. Seventh grader Isabel Menna placed 1st, and Eighth graders Olen Johnson placed 1st and Greer Swoboda placed 4th. Edie Walker competing in Advanced Middle School Girls placed 4th. Way to go Icicle Bicycle!
